For a while I wrote here then went to MSN's spacesthen came back here awhile. My posts were generally daily coincidences and synchronicity of sorts. I use a lot of collages and symbolic references, in a stream of consciousness that gets eerie for those unused to such constant statistical stress, lol. A Brazilian Stonehenge and a Baby Bird
yesterday’s newsletters was a story about a Brazilian Stonehenge:
http://www.livescience.com/history/060628_ap_brazil_stonehenge.html
According to the article, “The 127 blocks, some as high as 9 feet tall, are spaced at regular intervals around the hill, like a crown 100 feet in diameter. On the shortest day of the year -- Dec. 21 -- the shadow of one of the blocks, which is set at an angle, disappears. “Ah yes, winter solstice. Why should there be only one Stonehenge? I found the photograph interesting, and thought there was a similarity between the one standing rock, with the hole in it, to my little necklace rock, which was found in the Raccoon River with a hole in it. No, I did not say they are exactly the same…I am just supposed to notice similarities, and I happened to notice this story. The Raccoon River is in Iowa, we were at the Kuehn Conservation area, in the Raccoon River Valley.
I went through my Mosaic of Minor Miracles http://h20genius.spaces.msn.com/ and my H20Genius http://h2ogenius.spaces.msn.com/ journal pictures this morning to get one that was not in my computer, and I noticed that on the one titled winter solstice, it has a cartoon on it that say’s Today’s the Day! I also spotted my picture of a bunch of rocks called Stonehenge.Since I am on the subject of rocks…there is a photo I took of two things found on the (Madison) Ohio River’s bank, last year sometime. I found a piece of a child’s toy, purple plastic with a design in it of a sword in the stone, and the next thing I picked up was a rock, same shape, but it had a “face” which made me smile. Others might enjoy it as much as I do. I love finding what nature has put in place for me to find.
Speaking of finding things…again…that baby bird I took back out to the woods yesterday, after my beau found it in the shop, the cat having just brought it in…yep, it showed up again today, in cat’s mouth. I went outside at some point this morning, saw the two cats and dog sitting outside of the shop, and heard that little voice. I yelled to the animals and went to see what they were looking at. Sure enough, there was that little bird, sitting next to the big stone on which the two cats sat. They had not damaged him; they were just being entertained by his hopping about. Normally the cat toys with his catches prior to eating. This is the third time for this particular bird. Yesterday, when I picked him up in the shop, I asked what he was willing to do to live here? So, when I saw he was back, I grabbed the bird up, brought him in the house and stuck him in the bathroom sink. I went back outside to look for something to make a cage, got stung by something and when I came in to pull the stinger and apply first aid, saw the cat carrier in the bathroom. Cat carriers work for birds too. I placed a bowl of water in the cage, chopped up some lettuce and a soggy pear. He obviously was not at the self-feeding stage. So I mixed up some cat/dog food and banana, and he readily took a few straw tips of that.I managed to get an email off to someone who told me keeping a bird was illegal, and that I could try water soaked raisins and worms, and to see if I could get it to the Louisville Zoo. Somehow, I doubt they need another robin, and for me to drive an hour away, well…. So, if I get arrested for trying to save it, without having the proper certification, I will allow the arresting officer to watch it be eaten by the cats, and they can testify that it was better to do that . After three times in the cat’s mouth, my beau suggests it is supposed to be there. I really do not wish to keep this thing any longer than I have to. I can take it across the road to the woods the cat does not go in, but the mother won’t find it to feed it, so it’s chances are still slim. If I can let it rest 24 hours, albeit still with some stress, it may have a chance. I doubt the mother will be able to help it much as is anyway, with such mighty hunters in the midst.
Today’s collage is simple. It contains reference to a rock and a smiley face. It is above the text of this entry.

What treasure...

Watched a soap opera for about a half hour today…a character said, no more back and forth…that was the title of the last entry…
Is it possible that the same baby bird could have appeared in my yard, in the mouth of our mighty hunter Boris, a second time? Do all robin babies look alike? Seemed about the right size to be the same one…just a little older. I can’t sex birds either so who knows, but it is a robin; the face seems familiar. So, for the rest of the afternoon, trying to keep cats in the house, to give the little guy another chance.
Mad About You was on the TV when I started on today’s collage. I don’t think I have watched much of that show in the past, so basically all the shows are new to me. At 3:00 the Nat and Arley episode was on, with Paul visiting a sleep clinic. My beau is the one who put the show on that channel, having come in from the shop for a short break. I was starting my cartoons and placing them into collage…coincidentally, one was about sleep deprivation, so I figured I was in sync at that point.
At 3:30 another episode came on, titled the Finale, and I looked up to see Ellen Degeneres was on the show, and also noticed there was a cereal box prop in the kitchen set, the word Crunch or Crunchy on the box. I just happened to see the next cartoon (Frazz) used the word Crunchy, so I continued slowly. I spent more time watching TV than working on the collage, so it actually took a while to finish it.
At some point, I changed the channel, to Charmed on TNT, showing a reporter (on the show) who saw something occur and said something to the effect (paraphrasing) that she was unsure what had just happened but that the viewers saw it live. At that point, I am on the Over the Hedge cartoon, with one of the characters asking what happened.
I randomly chose to use the cartoon bubble with the words “Wonderful creatures, aren’t they?” to anagram, and that translated to read, “What treasure, recently re-found?”
Some might say…

Back and forth
I wrote for a long while on msn spaces under http://h20genius.spaces.msn.com/ and most recently http://rii4u.spaces.msn.com
I kept having problems with the upload tool for photos so am back here a while to see how it goes here. I uploaded two photos today, taken with my logicam. One is of an unusual radish, reminding me of an alien in some respects. The second photo is that of a necklace I wear, an Atocha reproduction coin, a gold doubloon, and a rock found when I was in Iowa a week ago. I met two new friends, people who have known my beau a long time. They took me to a place they called the healing water. While we were busy looking at a little cricket frog friend who appeared as I stood along the water's edge, http://www.herpnet.net/Iowa-Herpetology/amphibians/frogs_toads/cricketfrog.html someone was writing an article online about the little guys, posting it the same day…a coincidence a day keeps life interesting! This little story was in my mail, dated the day we were at the river, thought some might appreciate it:
http://www.physorg.com/news70445537.html
Anyway, the "rock" I now wear is one found immediately after Jackie, the woman friend, said that many people use rock found there to make necklaces, and the way things work with me, the next rock found was one that came with a hole in it, ready to wear. So I put it on my chain and it has been there since. The way things work...yeah, since I have not written here in a long while, if you are interested, pick a date on the mosaic of minor miracles journal, say about Katrina time, August last year, and come forward. A lot of coincidences amd synchronicity will become evident to you.
Why was I in Iowa? A little working vacation. My beau is a tinner, and we run a tin and coppersmith forum at http://e-tinsnips.com. We had a "Tinner's Convergence" in Ft. Dodge, Iowa this past week. My beau, as I call him, lived there as a teenager, working on Living History Farms, and the people we visited in Earlham, Iowa are potters, business name, I believe, is New Harmony.
When I write I may often refer to previous posts, which you can look up at the last two journals most recently http://rii4u.spaces.msn.com called
"A Different Way of Seeing with Rii4u: BLIPPS
Belief/Laughter/Imagination/Perspective/Possibility/Synchronicity"
and the one before that called My Mosaic of Minor Miracles at http://h20genius.spaces.msn.com/
Coincidence? I just noticed that when I put this post up, the last time I had actually written on here, was September last year, when we had the first Tinner's Convergence in Eastfield.
Good to be back.
